Project Description:
The Yateley Society has been gathering local information and materials for over forty years; we now have a vast store of maps, images, documents, videos, audio bites and historical items, much of which has been stored at The Hampshire Archives. The society’s trustees have taken the view that we should make all these interesting artifacts and documents available for the people to search and view for themselves online. The idea is to create an Online Digital Library, which should provide a repository for storing these records, which will be straightforward to update, and also easy for visitors to search and find what they are looking for.
