Read the Yateley Society response to the Draft Local Plan. It is unlikely to be the final definitive response as a Pre-submission version will be published later this year with additional documents e.g. Infrastructure Delivery Plan. Sometime next summer we expect an inspector to hold a public inquiry and say if the new Local Plan is sound and can be adopted.

The pre-submission Local Plan is not expected for consultation until January 2018. This will be the version that goes to the Planning Inspectorate for examination and all responses will be sent to the Planning Inspector for consideration. It is vital, therefore, that people respond to this version of the Local Plan as it is the one that counts.
