Bovis Homes has appealed against Hart’s refusal to grant planning permission for 121 new homes on land along Marsh lane, Eversley. The appeal has been lodged with the Planning Inspectorate and a hearing will be set up. A “hearing” normally takes one day after an Inspector has read through the documents and has had whatever discussions he/she needs to have with the parties.
Hart Council and Bovis will have to provide a Statement of Case and enter discussions where they can agree some aspects of the planning refusal. It seems strange that a “hearing” has been selected because it seems impossible that all aspects of the planning refusal can be discussed in one or even two days. There are also literally hundreds of residents who have objected and may well want to air their views at the Hearing!
